Denver's cosmic death metal crew made the leap from cult favourites to the top of just about every 2024 end-of-year list with this one. Two side-long suites swing from brutal, labyrinthine riffing into lush Pink Floyd and Tangerine Dream territory, with Tangerine Dream's own Thorsten Quaeschning guesting on synths. Ambitious, weird and genuinely unlike anything else in metal right now. Your heavy friends and your prog friends will both want this.
