Before the epic prog of Lateralus, Tool were a heavier, angrier beast, and Undertow captures them at their most raw. "Sober" and "Prison Sex" put them on the alt-metal map, Henry Rollins turns up on "Bottom", and the closing "Disgustipated" is as bizarre as anything they've done. The foundation for everything that came after.
